The Stella Prize’s Best of the Fest

By The Stella Prize

As part of this year’s Melbourne Writers Festival, Stella is delighted to present an in-conversation with the yet-to-be-announced winner of the 2023 Stella Prize (book via this link). However, there are many events across MWF’s exciting and ambitious program that the Stella team are looking forward to – these are just a few of our top picks.

Peter Steele Conversation: Poetry in Motion

Here at Stella, we’re thrilled to see contemporary Australian poetry having a welcome resurgence. The all-star lineup for this event, featuring 2023 Stella Prize shortlistee Sarah Holland-Batt (pictured), beautifully reflects the breadth and range of the form.

This conversation between Charmaine Papertalk Green, Dianne Jones, Yhonnie Scarce and Jeanine Leane about the influence and intersection of visual arts and poetry will be fascinating.
